Director Manivannan is busy with his 50th directorial venture

Veteran director Manivannan is busy with his 50th directorial venture, titled 'Nagaraja Cholan MA MLA', which is a sequel to the Tamil film 'Amaidhi Padai', released way back in 1994. The film will star actors like Sathyaraj, Seeman, Raghuvannan, Mrudula and Komal Sharma, among others and this is Sathyaraj's 200th film.

The satellite rights of this film has been bought by Zee TV and the movie is all set to hit the screens as a Tamil New Year gift, on the 14th of April. The music for the this film is scored by composer James Vasanthan.

'Nagaraja Cholan MA MLA' will be a full-length commercial entertainer that speaks of contemporary politics. However, it does not hurt any sentiments. It will be a typical Manivannan classic that we grew up to.

The film is a sequel to the Tamil film \'Amaidhi Padai\', released way back in 1994.
