Warsaw: India's Natasha Suri had a disappointing run at the Miss World 2006, failing to make it to the final six in the pageant held in the Polish capital.
Twenty-two-year old Natasha had entered the semifinals and was adjudged the First Runner Up in Miss World Beach Wear and Second Runner Up in Miss World Dress Designer.
Considered one of the strong contenders for this year's Miss World title, Mumbai-born Natasha was one of the three contestants to be selected from the Asia-Pacific region and was among the top ten before she crashed out in the semifinal round.
A Management graduate, Natasha has modelled for top Indian designers like Sabyasachi Mukherjee, Rana Gill, Shantanu and Nikhil, Narendra Kumar,
Suneet Verma and Rina Dhaka.
She has done print campaigns for magazines like Elle, Femina and Man's World.
The 56th Miss World title was won by 18-year-old Miss Czech Republic Tatana Kucharova, who beat 102 other contestants to take the coveted crown.
