DJ Aqeel opens members-only disc

Mumbai: All those who have that extra money to shell out for partying at a high-end private club, might just want to check out DJ Aqeel's new disc ‘Bling’.

It was a feast for the cameras when DJ Aqeel rolled out the red carpet for his Bollywood friends at the opening of his discotheque Bling at Mumbai's Leela hotel.

So, what's so special about bling?

"It’s a very private disc. Only members are allowed. There’s no Bollywood music. It plays only English music. It’s absolutely for the elite, and it has a warm and stylish interior," DJ Aqeel said.

Obviously, the next logical question was: How much of a party freak our Bollywood celebs are?

"Well I don’t really party much anymore. I prefer to spend my evenings hanging out with friends and catching up with them," Shamita Shetty said.

Esha Deol’s opinion wasn’t too different to Shamita’s. She said, “No, not that much. I am just here to wish my friend Jackie and Aqeel all the best. That’s all."

When confronted with the same question, Zayed Khan said, "Well I am not as wild as I used to be when I was younger."

We surely couldn’t spot many party animals there. However, if you want to go shake a leg at Bling, be informed the entry is restricted to members only, and it comes with a whopping price tag!
