Chennai: The Madras High Court has granted bail to DMK MLA J Anbazhagan, who apprehended arrest in connection with a complaint against him for alleged land grabbing.
Granting bail for a three-week period, Justice T Sudanthiram on Thursday directed Anbazhagan, who represents Chepauk assembly segment in the city, to furnish a personal bond and appear before the police if required.
The complaint against the legislator was lodged by one Dharmaraj. On August 10, the Madras High Court had granted Anbazhagan bail in another case relating to alleged land grabbing in Tirrupur.
