New Delhi: The Dravida Munnettra Kazhagam (DMK) Party has decided not to discuss filling Cabinet berths now and the party's primary focus now is on fighting the 2G spectrum case legally and building party.

DMK chief M Karunanidhi's primary concern is now bail for his daughter Kanimozhi in the 2G spectrum scam case.

The party feels that taking berths now will send a signal of 'political opportunism' and also feels finding a candidate for cabinet berths acceptable to all factions will be difficult.

Two of the party's former Central ministers - former telecom minister A Raja and former textile minister Dayanidhi Maran - have already resigned over the 2G spectrum scam issue. Two of the party's tall leaders A Raja and Kanimozhi are already in jail, while the treat of getting arrested is looming large on Maran.
