Karunanidhi is meeting senior party leaders individually at his residence in Chennai on Sunday before taking a final call on joining the Congress-led UPA government.
The DMK on Friday suddenly announced that it would not be joining the UPA government after the Congress turned down party chief M Karunanidhi’s demand for plum ministerial posts for his relatives and aides.
Karunanidhi, his eldest son M.K. Azhagiri and other senior DMK leaders like T R Baalu and Arcot Veeraswami returned from New Delhi to Chennai after inconclusive talks over ministerial berths to their party.
