DMRC delivers new line, 9 months before due date

New Delhi: The Delhi Metro on Tuesday reached another corner of Delhi when Chief Minister Sheila Dixit inaugurated the extended line to Jahangirpuri.

This is the second out of the seven new links that are scheduled to start before the 2010 Commonwealth games.

This line will now stretch up to Jahangirpuri, beyond the Vishwavidyalaya metro station.

The Delhi Metro rail corporation completed the project nine months ahead of schedule.
