Do you know him?Cops release suspect's sketch

CNN-IBN

New Delhi: Police have released the sketch of a 25-year-old man who is the supposd face of terror behind the blasts that ripped through the busiest markets of Jaipur on Tuesday.

Jaipur Police put together the sketch by early Wednesday evening, after getting their first big break.

Investigators managed to track down the shop from where all the nine cycles used in the blasts were bought. The sketch was based on the description of the suspect given by the shop assistant.

Meanwhile, at the site of the blasts, investigators sifted through the debris to look for other solid clues.

Top police officers have confirmed that RDX and ammonium nitrate were used in the blasts — a deadly cocktail.

However, authorities are still groping for an answer to the most crucial question: Who is behind the blasts? Police officials have refused to commit themselves to anything.

Nonetheless, that hasn't stopped politicians from pointing fingers, without taking any names, and all of them are blaming neighbouring countries.

Rajasthan Chief Minister, Vasundhra Raje said, "I hold the Centre responsible for the blasts. The UPA Government is soft on terror. I lay the blame on Central Government. We are ready to take on our responsibilities, but, I also expect the Central Government to cooperate as this attack is on the country."

MoS Home, Sriprakash Jaiswal on the other hand has denied an intelligence lapse on the part of the Centre.

"We have repeatedly warned the state governments, especially states on the border, that an attack can occur at anytime especially in Rajasthan, where seven months ago there was an attack on Ajmer Sharif. It is not correct to call it an intelligence failure," he said.

As Jaipur tries to wash away the horror of Terror Tuesday under the watchful eye of paramilitary forces and a day-long curfew, the saving grace has been that there has been no anger or outburst at all following the blasts, despite the communally sensitive nature of the city.
