On Monday evening, Louis Philippe launched its new Don collection and the man himself was present for the unveiling.
The collection had it all, printed shirts to leather jackets and trendy ties to be worn differently.
“Don is a little eccentric. Everybody wears the tie on the shirt but Don wears in inside. Next time I’ll wear my underwear on my pants,” quips Shah Rukh.
All that in the name of style. But, is King Khan really the style King in his real life?
“In real life I just wear jeans and T-shirts. I’m not that stylish,” he says.
Modesty seems to be Shah Rukh's mantra. He claims others are more concerned about his style than he is.
I do what the director and the designer say. Especially if you have good thinking directors like Farhan (Akhtar), I never question them. Their interest in me looking nice in the film is much more than my own. So I never question it. Especially in a film like Don, where I perhaps looked the nicest I've looked in a film so far. I find girls liking me now,” says Shah Rukh.
Well, with all that style, modesty and that dimpled smile, who wouldn't like King Khan?
