Don't call off talks: Pak to India

New Delhi: Pakistan on Friday rejected Prime Minister Manmohan Singh's statements that Tuesday's serial blasts in Mumbai were supported by elements from across the border.

Pakistan also said that reports of the police tracing calls to Karachi and to Bangladesh were frivolous.

Talking to CNN-IBN, Spokesperson for the Pakistan Foreign Office, Tanim Aslam said that the Mumbai blasts have been a terrorist attack, which have been condemned very strongly by the Pakistani establishment.

She reiterated President Musharraf's offer for helping in the investigations into the blasts if India would share information and evidence.

She said that the Pakistan Foriegn Office had no information of the secretary-level talks being called off and added that it was necessary that the talks must go on.

She also said that there is no connection between the blasts and the talks.
