New York: Iron Man star Robert Downey Jr is tipped to play Playboy magazine founder Hugh Hefner in a movie based on his life.
Downey Jr. is enjoying a comeback after having battled drug addiction for years. He is receiving numerous offers after the success of Iron Man.
Although the Hefner biopic deal has not been finalised, sources say that Hefner has given the seal of approval to Downey Jr, perezhilton.com reports. The movie is tentatively titled Playboy.
Hefner supposedly liked Downey Jr after he saw him in Iron Man and said, "admiring his humor and skill in showing his vulnerability."
