KOCHI: The body of Nagesh, 35, a fisherman, who drowned in the Kochi backwaters at Mulavukadu was found on Thursday. The coracle on which Nagesh and his daughter Sainika,10, were fishing had capsized on Wednesday.
The search for the girl is still continuing. Mulavukadu SI Byju S said the post-mortem examination has been conducted and the body will be sent to his native place in Mysore. Fire and Rescue Services personnel and the local people will continue the search for the girl, he said.
