Click to play videoNew Delhi: In another case of keepers of the law breaking the law, two uniformed Punjab Police constables created a spectacle in Jalandhar on Monday after getting high on liquor.
An embarrassed police force has now arrested the drunken duo after bystanders called them up and complained.
The incident happened near an overbridge. The duo had a brawl, and when onlookers gathered, they danced the bhangra, teased women, chased each other and one even fell into a ditch.
The two cops were not aware of their mobile phones and had no clue of the state of their weapons.
The police arrived but without a vehicle to take away the drunken cops and kept flagging down passing vehicles to take a lift.
Later, the frustrated police force rained lathis on the innocent onlookers.
