New Delhi: The Central Bureau of Investigation has named Kunda MLA Raja Bhaiya in one of the four FIRs filed in connection with the murder of the Kunda DSP, Zia-ul-Haq. According to sources, Raja Bhaiya has been named with five others in the FIR relating to murder, criminal conspiracy, rioting and other charges.
The second FIR also relates to the murder of the DSP, while the remaining FIRs pertain to the killing of the village pradhan Nanhe Yadav and his brother Suresh Yadav.
Sources say that if needed, the CBI will order a second autopsy on the body of the slain police officer and will question police officers as well and a ten-member team is expected to leave for Kunda on Thursday night.
The CBI, which will take custody of the two persons already arrested, will focus its initial enquiries on reconstructing the crime scene and examining witnesses.
