Bhopal: The state Directorate of Technical Education (DTE) of Madhya Pradesh has extended the last date for locking the choice of colleges in engineering. Students aspiring for a seat in engineering colleges of the state were earlier given till July 5 to make their choice. The directorate will release a notification soon to this effect which will give the new 'last date'. The decision was taken at a counselling committee meeting of DTE on July 4.
When contacted over telephone, the secretary of the Association of Pofessional and Technical Institutes of Madhya Pradesh, Suresh Chouksey, confirmed that the choice filling date has been extended. Sources said the new last date could be July 15.
