Mumbai: It looks like actor Sanjay Dutt has transformed himself into real-life Munnabhai of sorts. The actor visited Wadia hospital in Mumbai with Maureen Wadia and met patients and children there. The little faces smiled at Dutt who shared a few notes of Gandhigiri in true Munnabhai style as he inaugurated a paediatric neurosurgery department at the hospital.
“It's a great honour for me to be here among such lovely children. If I can bring a smile on someone's face, it makes me feel good about myself,” said Dutt while the children greeted him with banners that said “Munnabhai give us pyar ki jhappi” (Give us a warm hug Munnabhai)
Sanjay Dutt along with Moureen Wadia made a grand presence at the Bai Jerbai Wadia Children's hospital to inaugurate a paediatric neurosurgery department.
“Munna Bhai says, laughter is the best medicine,” said one patient at the Jerbai Wadia Children's Hospital.
One advice that Munnabhai had to share with people was: “I won't advise the staff to do what I did in MBBS, like cheat in the exams and stuff like that. But I wish them all the best. They are doing a great and noble job by treating these little children,” said Dutt.
After a whole round of greetings and blessings, the actor did look and sound up in spirit.
“Bole to bolega ki apun tum log ke saath hai, kya mammu kya bolta hai?” Dutt said as he smiled with poise.
