As Kerala is eagerly waiting for its monsoon and ‘Edavapathi’, art house film maker Lenin Rajendran is busy trying to wind up the shoot of his new movie titled the same before this coming 'Edavapathi'. Featuring an international cast starting from Siddhartha Lama (of Yoddha fame), and Manisha Koirala, the movie centres its plot on Tibetan refugees denied total freedom by the Chinese government. In the midst, Lenin will also tell a love affair between young lama and an aged woman. The canning for the film is currently underway at Munnar. Lenin will be completing most of his shooting within this schedule itself.
Prashath Narayan, the Kerala born Bollywood actor will come up in the role that was earlier earmarked for Jagathy Sreekumar, while Siddharth's father will appear as his on screen guru in the movie.
Cinematography is by Madhu Ambat. Pandit Ramesh Narayanan and Mohan Sithara have set the music tracks for the movie.
