Ekta's soap family celebrates Janamashtami

Mumbai: The Janamashtami celebration took place with much fanfare at Indian television's favourite Gujrati household of the Viranis of Ekta Kapoor's Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi.

The proverbial a family that prays together, stays together was evident as the entire Virani family celebrated Janmasthami on the sets of Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi.

It was a small puja that included everyone except Tulsi. However, her body double substituted her.

The senior most member of the family, 'Baa' around the family, enjoyed every bit of the celebration.

Actor Sudha Shivpuri says, "Its important to celebrate these festivals so that the younger generation get to know about our culture"

When asked how they celebrated their Janmasthami otherwise despite their hectic schedules, actor, Ronit Roy says, “Back home, my mother conducts a puja and we do it with a bit of reverence. I go to Iskon."

So, while you prepare for your Janmasthami celebrations, The Virani family wishes you the very best this Janamashtami.
