Elephant carcass found

SONEPUR: Carcass of a four-year-old female elephant was found under Narayanpur section of Sonepur range in Barahpahad reserve forest on Friday.
The animal reportedly died after falling into a trench before getting entangled in wire of solar power. Although the elephant had died a couple of days back, the incident came to light after villagers noticed the carcass on Friday.
On Saturday, a team of veterinary doctors performed autopsy on the animal.
