London: Legendary singer Elton John is all set to share his experiences of the global AIDS epidemic in his first book.
John, 64, will write about losing friends - including Queen frontman Freddie Mercury - to the disease in his book 'Love Is The Cure: Ending The Global AIDS Epidemic', Daily Express reported.
"Why are we not doing more? This is a question I have thought deeply about, and wish to answer - and to help change - by writing this book... This is a disease that must be cured not by a miraculous vaccine, but by changing hearts and minds," he said.

The proceedings of the book will be donated to the Elton John AIDS Foundation and he hopes the book will help tackle the stigma attached to the disease.
The book will hit stores in July.
