THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Chief Minister Oommen Chandy on Tuesday said that the differences in policies will not stand in the way of supporting good projects which were initiated by the previous government.
He was speaking after launching the logo of
‘Emerging Kerala 2012’, an ambitious investment meet of Kerala State Industrial Development Corporation
Limited.
Chandy said that investment prospects of the state will undergo a big change with the Emerging Kerala 2012 investment meet to be held in April 2012.
Through the investment meet, the state aimed to attract investors and thereby generate job opportunities in the state.
Emerging Kerala 2012 has been inspired by the Global Investment Meet (GIM) held during the regime of A K Antony-led UDF government in 2003.
Industries Minister P K Kunhalikutty said
that the State Government aimed to speedily implement the projects finalised
at the investment meet rather than just sign MoUs with the investors.
Ministers M K Muneer, P K Jayalakshmi, K P Anilkumar, Adoor Prakash
and K C Joseph also attended the function in which the logo was
launched .
