THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The Confederation of Consumer Vigilance Centre (CVC) organised a seminar as part of the World Milk Day observance here on Friday. “The State and Central Governments should make necessary amendments to the legislation to ensure the availability of unadulterated milk,” the participants of the seminar opined.
“The sale of milk without any fat is an act of cheating the consumers,” they said.
CVC president Jose Vithayathil presided over the seminar. KLD former managing director Dr N R Unnithan delivered the key-note address and Bar Association president K P Jayachandran spoke.
