Click to play videoNew York: When you are Katie Holmes, even a broadway debut seems like a cakewalk. On Thursday night , the better half of Tom Cruise or Kat as she is popularly known, made her theatrical debut in the revival of Arthur Miller's All My Sons at the Schoenfled Theatre in New York.
Holmes says, “You know I think you just have to go. Go for it, because it's a very different experience than a movie or television show. and everyone really truly has been so generous that it's been pretty easy.”
Husband Tom Cruise was there to support her.
Holmes says, “It makes me feel really good. When he's there I always feel it's gonna be great. It's exciting.”
Set during the second World War the play talks about a businessman who supplies faulty cylinder parts to the millitary resulting in the death of 21 soldiers.
Katie plays the businessman's daughter-in-law. Its time to take a bow Katie.
FRANKLYN PREMIERE
London: Franklyn starring bond girl Eva Green was premiered at the London Film Festival.
Dressed in a greyish blue dress Eva Green was spotted at the world premiere of her film on Thursday at the ongoing 52nd London Film Festival.
Meanwhile, the film's other star Ryan Phillippe spoke about his not-so-visible act in the film
Ryan Phillippe says, “It was not comfortable at all and I had no visibility and the first night that I shot in the film I had to jump down a set of stairs with the mask on.”
Franklyn is a science-fiction film with parallel narratives, one set in a futuristic world and the other in contemporary London as it tracks the lives of four characters.
When the futuristic world of atheist vigilante Jonathan Preest collides with that of Emilia, an art student, played by Green, hell breaks lose.
Franklyn hits the British theatres on January 30.
