BELLARY: Firing salvo at state BJP president K S Eshwarappa, independent candidate B Sriramulu said that Eshwarappa is a quarrelsome personality, as his speeches lead to one quarrel or the other. “Hence, he needs to mind his tongue while speaking in public,” he said while addressing the media here on Saturday.
The newly-elected MLA also asserted that Eshwarappa is not essential for the BJP and he does not command any respect within the party. “He is like wet mud, his personality and attitude have created many a political impasse in the past,” he said.
He asserted that the electorate will not vote in favour of him and send him back to his house. Reacting to Eshwarappa’s comment that no legislator would support Sriramulu during the Council voting, Sriramulu, who boasted of having the support of around 22 legislators, said, “It is left to the legislators themselves to decide on the matter.”
