Exclusive: I know who killed Scarlette, says mother

Murdered British teenager Scarlette Keeling's mother Fiona McKeown is back in London after meeting a string of officials in India. She tells CNN-IBN's Sanjay Suri, she knows who killed her daughter.

CNN-IBN: What new information have you been able to gather following your visit to India?

Fiona McKeown: A few things...I have been told that I can have my daughter's organs. They have told me the procedure to give them to me, I have to write another letter to the Chief Secretary. I have told the name of the person responsible for my daughter's murder but now the authorities tell me that the case has been handed over to the CBI.

CNN-IBN: Are we any nearer to knowing who is responsible for Scarlette’s death?

Fiona McKeown: I think I know who he is. It's just proving it and giving a chance to the CBI to investigate.

CNN-IBN: Is the CBI proceeding with the case and are you satisfied with the way it is being handled?

Fiona McKeown: I feel that it's taking a bit too long but the British Counsellor told me that this is normal and in fact moving quite fast in comparison to other cases.

CNN-IBN: What remains to be done in case of Scarlette’s organs which you mentioned?

Fiona McKeown: Some of the organs are in Goa Medical College and some of them are with the Forensics Department in Mumbai. I have to write a letter to the Chief Secretary and he said that if possible he will get it together and get it upto the Mumbai airport, then a flight will be arranged and it needs to be collected at my end.

CNN-IBN: Is this what you are waiting here for, the last rites?

Fiona McKeown: Probably yes, I am waiting to get her organs so that we can bury her but it all depends on the Forensics Department.
