Los Angeles: A man who gate-crashed his way into the Oscars last year will ironically be seen preventing others from doing so this year.
Scott Weiss, a professional gate-crasher, who snuck his way into last years Oscars ceremony has been officially hired to tighten security ahead of this year's event.
Every security guard at the Kodak theatre in Los Angeles has reportedly been briefed by Scott Weiss on how to prevent fans from breaking through the security ring .
The concern of Oscar organisers is that the blueprint for gate crashing could be used by terrorists or political protesters who may wish to harm the celebrities.
