Hyderabad: The Hyderabad twin blasts case has been handed over to the Special Investigation Team of the Hyderabad Police.
Ten special teams have been formed to investigate the blasts and the teams have been sent to Aurangabad, Bidar and Bangalore to hunt for any leads.
Meanwhile, the Andhra Pradesh government has confirmed the involvement of foreign terror groups in the blasts. Radical outfits Jaish-e-Mohammad (JeM) and Harkatul Jihaad-e-Islami (HuJI) are suspected to be behind the blasts.
Police sources say ISI-sponsored outfits smuggled counterfeit currency and RDX into Hyderabad in March through hawala channels -- all meant for sleeper cells of the JeM and HuJI.
Sources in the Intelligence Bureau have also not ruled out the possibility of a suicide bomber being used in the blasts.
Union Home Secretary, Madhukar Gupta, told CNN-IBN that there were no clear leads that could be followed as yet.
"Based on whatever has been seen so far, some possibilities have been identified, which the investigative agencies will be working on. Any terror group could be involved in the blasts including LeT or JeM," he said.
"These elements or organisations are clearly outside the country and they resort to fueling such kinds of activities," he further stated.
His comments came a day after Home Minister Shivraj Patil refused to specify whether terror groups based in Pakistan and Bangladesh were behind the Saturday night attacks.

Police say RDX and an explosive called Neo Gel 90, suspected to have been bought in Nagpur, was used in the blast.
Investigators are now waiting for the forensic report on the unexploded bomb that was found in Venkatadiri theatre.
More than 20 people are being questioned in the connection with the blast. Mustak Ahmed, who is suspected to have supplied ball bearings used in the blasts is among those being questioned.
Amongst people detained for questioning includes a SIMI activist from the Sayeedabad area of Hyderabad.
Bomb hoaxes
On Monday, barely two days after the twin blasts rocked the city, the Andhra Pradesh Secretariat and five other places in the city received hoax bomb threats.
State Home Minister K Jana Reddy said the police control room received an anonymous call that bombs have been planted at the Secretariat, Paradise Hotel, Retifile bus station at Secunderabad, Chilkalaguda, Global hospitals and Imblibun bus station.
The Chief Minister was chairing a meeting with his Cabinet colleagues on the implementation of GO 610 when the threat was received. All the employees of the Secretariat were evacuated from their office premises and thorough checks were made.
Bomb detection and disposal squad and sniffer dogs were immediately pressed into service. However, no explosive materials were found at any place.
Mr Reddy said the police had recorded the phone numbers and launched a manhunt to nab the miscreants.
