New Delhi: Facebook has now announced a new addition to its Life Events family that lets users add 'Expecting a Baby' as a Life Event on timeline.
The form includes fields for the baby's gender, due date, who the other parent is, location and story. Users can upload an image to the event and can also set a future publishing date, i.e., they can decide that when the update should go live.
In addition, Facebook will also lets users see when their friends are expecting a baby from the Celebrations section on the homepage.
"Life Events are easy and expressive ways to mark significant moments in your life such as getting married, buying a house or traveling to new places. If you choose to, you can now share that you are expecting a baby with your friends on Facebook," said Facebook in a post.
Last year, Facebook silently included an option to add an expected child as a family member, which is now replaced with this new feature.
