Kolkata: As the Mamata Banerjee government completes one year in office tomorrow, a week-long fair highlighting its achievements was inaugurated by the Chief Minister on Saturday.
All the 60 departments of the state government have put up stalls at the 'Pragati Utsav' to provide information on their various activities, goals and achievements in the last one year.
Officials conveyed information on the functioning of government departments through banners, posters and pamphlets. A total of 241 stalls have been put up at the fair.

Mamata had taken oath as Chief Minister on May 20 last year, after ending 34 years of uninterrupted rule by the CPI(M)-led Left Front.
The sports and youth affairs department has its stall near Esplanade in the heart of the city, while the information and cultural affairs department has its pavilion at the Rabindra Sadan complex.
