Fake sting: Uma Khurana wants her job back

New Delhi: She was humiliated in public, attacked by a vicious mob, fired from her job, and spent ten days in jail.

But Delhi government school teacher Uma Khurana, who it now appears is a victim of a fake sting operation carried out by a television channel, says all she wants now is to go back to her job.

Speaking exclusively to CNN-IBN’s Marya Shakil she said she wants to sue the TV channel.

Marya Shakil:How do you want to start your life again?

Uma Khurana: I want to start my normal life once again.

Marya Shakil: What is this normal life that you are talking about?

Uma Khurana: My home, my family, my kids, my job and my school - I want to start my normal routine life.

Marya Shakil: The character assassination that has already been done how do you assess the situation right now?

Uma Khurana: God will do everything. There has been no such problem in my past 20-year’s job life. I have a very good track record. I hope looking into all this the Delhi government will give justice in my favour. I am hundred per cent sure about it.

Marya Shakil:Why the person has targeted you what is the reason behind that?

Uma Khurana I cant say why he was making me target what was the motive behind that. But yes there was a great conspiracy behind this to kill me. The whole episode was shown on TV when I was in class thinking that people can attack me and can kill me.

Marya Shakil:Do you want to sue the TV channel?

Uma Khurana: Yes I want to sue the media but not against the Delhi government. I want to take action against the channel that has defamed me and demoralised me.
