Expressing concern over the fall in the rupee against the US Dollar, Maharashtra Chief Minister Prithviraj Chavan on Wednesday said he was in touch with the Centre for a stimulus to the industries to prevent job losses.
"I am planning to have meetings with the captains of the industry in Delhi as well as in the state.
I am in touch with the Centre to get stimulus for the industries, so that there should not be job-losses," Chavan told reporters in Mumbai.

"Auto sector will be affected," Chavan said, adding that the fall in rupee will have an impact on the diesel prices too.
If the US waged a war on Syria, then prices of crude oil will rise sharply, he added.
