Kakinada (Andhra Pradesh): A fan of actor-turned-politician and Praja Rajyam Party(PRP) president Chiranjeevi allegedly committed suicide on hearing about his defeat in Palacole assembly constituency in the just concluded elections.
Nalla Narayana Giri (45), a mason, consumed pesticide at his residence in Kothalanka village of Mummidivaram Mandal in Konaseema Region on Sunday night.
He was immediately rushed to a private hospital in Amalapuram where he succumbed to death on Monday morning. He is survived by his wife, two daughters and a son.
