London: A Choreographer, director and now an 'academic'- Farah Khan is in London for a one-off master class on 'Insiders perspective on Bollywood', where she will be discussing aspects of filmmaking with students and film buffs. And a retrospective of her works organised by the Mayfair Media Club- a private body of filmmakers in Britain, coincides with this.
“I am happy to be here after Om Shanti Om, its celebrating Bollywood through me,” says Farah Khan.
From Jo jeeta wohi sikander in 1992, Farah Khan has choreographed some of the most memorable song sequences in Bollywood.
She has also worked in international productions like Bombay Dreams and Vanity Fair. But it’s her directorial venture, Om shanti Om, the highest grossing film last year, which, she says was the real turning point.
“Om shanti Om has changed the way people look at me! My brand equity has increased after this movie but what is life changing is to have triplets,” adds Farah.
Although there's still time for her to launch her own trio, Farah is scripting her next film and also getting into TV production.
