HYDERABAD: National Institute of Fashion and Technology (NIFT) hosted Fashionova 2012, an annual fashion show to display the designs of the graduating students of the year 2011-2012 at N-convention centre on Saturday. Students from textile design, accessory design and fashion design courses, displayed their skills through this show.
The fashion show was quite the hot ticket with models walking down the ramp displaying works of the graduating batch. A combination of class, colours and elegance took over the ambience, when students, who donned the hat of models, walked the ramp with a variety of designs. The outfits featured varied from floor length gowns, to a retro chic look. A complex mix of both contemporary and traditional gave the event a surreal experience.
Parallely, the students of textile design department displayed their work in their respective stalls. The designs were catchy and were bustling with colours.
Moving on to accessories, an entire spectrum of lifestyle products, jewellery,  footwear, gift ware, tableware, designed by students were on display.
