Click to play videoMumbai: The closing ceremony of the FICCI Frames business of entertainment convention had a perfect ending on Thursday night and though the event held in Mumbai wasn't a starry affair, it saw legendary actors Sharmila Tagore and Shashi Kapoor being felicitated with the Living Legends of Entertainment award.
Although Shashi Kapoor couldn't attend the awards night due to poor health, actress Sharmila Tagore showered her gratitude towards the film fraternity.
"Most of the times the star takes away credit for the film but its the make-up man, the hair stylist, the light man, the camera crew and the director who work hard to make them look good on screen, so I think they should be honored too," Sharmila Tagore said.
The Kashmir Ki Kali star also spoke of her association with Shashi Kapoor and the films they have done together including Aa Gale Lagja.
"It has been a lovely journey with him. We've worked in several films together," she said.
All in all, FICCI frames 2009 saw a happy ending - an honour for the veteran actors and some entertainment from singer KK who performed at the felicitation ceremony.
