Fighting breaks out on Afghan border

New Delhi: Fifty two people, most of them Uzbeks, have been killed in fresh fighting between militants and local tribesman in South Waziristan in Pakistan.

Fighting in the tribal region broke out earlier this month between Uzbek militants and Pashtun tribesmen after the militants tried to kill a pro-government tribal leader.
