Director of Tollywood movie Eega, SS Rajamouli, has announced here on Wednesday that he will make a film against the backdrop of Warangal during the Kakatiya empire.
The director was here for the promotion of his latest film Eega, along with producer Daggubati Suresh, actor Sudip and other crew members.
When mediapersons reminded Rajamouli about the announcement he had made during the success celebration of Magadheera that he would direct a period drama set in the days of the Kakatiya empire, he reiterated the commitment, but said he needed to first perfect his technique as director.

There are many good locations in Warangal for a film shoot, he added.
“Though not competent enough to direct the 150th film of Chiranjeevi, I could still give a good script if the actor-turned politician asks,” Rajamouli said.
The film team visited Ashok theatre in Hanamkonda and Ramlakshman theatre in Warangal.
Artiste Srinivas presented a micro fly made of gold to Rajamouli on the occasion.
