Filmfare parties with King Khan

Mumbai: One issue and four different covers with the country's sexiest stars - it was reason enough for Filmfare to celebrate the launch of its collector's edition at the hands of actor Shah Rukh Khan.

The first thing that Shah Rukh did at the party was apologise for his fashionably late arrival and he was pardoned just as promptly.

He even had a witty reason for his delay. "I'm a Muslim with a beard, so the police troubled me more," he quipped.

Hotting up the party, he announced, "The party will start now, as the song in Kabhi Alvida Na Kehna goes: Where's the party tonight?

There were four Filmfare covers, so who does the vote for the favourite one go to?

"Mr Bachchan's would've been a favourite," said Shah Rukh.

"The one with Shah Rukh of course. It reflects attitude and charisma," said actor Tusshar Kapoor.

"You'll put me in trouble! They are all good," said actress Tabu.

"I've been on so many covers, I don't remember. When I'm old, grey, retrospecting, introspecting and I collect all the covers and when you are still young, I'll answer that question," said Shah Rukh.

Well, it doesn’t look like his popularity will fade even when he grows old. Meanwhile, as he braved the mob, the party seemed to have truly started.
