Recently, the 'Aayirathil Oruvan' and 'Mayakkam Enna' maker celebrated his first wedding anniversary, with wife Gitanjali and daughter Leelavathi.
"It's been one year of happiness and bliss. Thanks to my wife Gitanjali, who's pulled me out of sheer hell and shown me heaven," Selva wrote on his microblogging page.

Updating on his forthcoming film 'Irandam Ulagam', which has Arya and Anushka in lead roles, he posted: "My visual effects supervisor from England says I am experimenting a lot. Why else make movies? I love experimenting with lights. Joyful! And when it involves VFX it's a double delight."
