Mumbai: Film directors are always behind the camera, but at an exhibition, some Bollywood filmmakers were seen posing in front of the cameras for a change!
It’s not often that you get to see these filmmakers being the focus of attention themselves.
But photographer Owais Khan decided to get nine Bollywood filmmakers to pose for his lens.
So you had Madhur Bhandarkar, Rajkumar Hirani, Farhan Akhtar, Sudhir Mishra, filmmaker duo Abbas Mastaan posing for the camera and doing quite a good job by the look of it!
"I say, why not take the most creative persons like those are the filmmakers, like those who are really good behind the camera," said Khan.
"Posing for the portrait was difficult," said Filmmaker Farhan Akhtar.
And some of them had their own list of directors whom they would've loved to click.
"I would love to shoot Shekhar Kapoor. I love Anurag Kashyap, Madhur – all these boys I love," said Filmmaker Sudhir Mishra.
"Rajkumar Hirani is my favourite filmmaker. Among the old ones – Guru Dutt, Guru Dutt, Guru Dutt," said Filmmaker Madhur Bhandarkar.
Just for the record these photographs are for Owais's personal collection and are not for sale.
