London: Harry Potter fans are queuing up in front of Waterstone's Book Store in Piccadilly London, hours before the seventh book in the series goes on sale early on Saturday morning.
There’s a Belgian fan who has been camped outside the bookstore since Wednesday. But she says it’s not just for the book alone.
"Its not just about the book. People say 'are you doing this just for the book?' And the answer would be 'no we're doing this for the fun as well,” says the fan.
And even as fans line up to grab a copy of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows - various Internet links claim to have the seven-page epilogue and a 36-chapter table of contents from Deathly Hallows. And as far as the guessing game goes, The New York Times review which upset J K Rowling states the death of half a dozen characters while author herself has so far only revealed the death of two. Fans however have mixed views on the end of the book.
"We want to celebrate Harry Potter and Harry Potter's dying, hopefully,” says a fan.
Another fan adds, “No he's not. He is not going to die. He's not, he's going to turn into a muggle.”
All the speculation has also got betting agencies working overtime.
“When we were first got asked about it we thought it was about a 33 to one shot, we're now down to three to one, so one pound to win three pounds, so very short odds and that looks increasingly like it might actually happen,” says Officer, Willam Hill, Rupert Adams.
But how will Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows end? Come July 21 with over two million pre-orders for the latest book worldwide, quite a few Potter fans will have an answer to that million dollar question.
