New Delhi: Like her previous books, J K Rowling's seventh and final Potter book, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, too would be interpreted on the big screen — however, not with one but two films.
The book, which was released in June 2007 and sold more than 11 million copies in the first week itself, will be split into two films.
Production house Warner Bros has confirmed that Part I of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows would be ready by 2010 and while Part II will follow with a May 2011 release.
The earlier star cast of Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson and Rupert Grint remains the same.
The film will be directed by David Yates who recently finished directing Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire is currently filming the sixth movie in the series, Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince.
The new films will simply be called Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part I and Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part II.
