Click to play videoMumbai: The cast of 99 was busy doing the last leg of promotions for the film on Wednesday night. The film has finally got a fixed release date. While the entire starcast showed up at a art exhibition to promote the film, ones in the spotlight were actors Kunal Khemu and Soha Ali Khan.
However, cast seemed a little jittery about the delays in the release date.
"I have already booked my Mercedes thinking the film will be out and I will be a millionaire, it has been delayed twice now and finally its releasing on May15," said actor/comedian Cyrus Broacha.
The film is about cricket and with the ongoing IPL they have to some how release it.
Apart from the movie's release date, rumours of off-screen chemistry between actors Soha Ali Khan and Kunal khemu have added a little spice to the movie's hype.
They, however, chose to talk about the film.
"Its based in the year 99 and then there is gambling cricket, ya so it's basically stuck at 99," said Kunal.
"My character is a girl from Delhi and my director believes all girls from Delhi are either Pooja or Neha, so it's how she goes about meeting these guys and set on an adventure with them," said Soha.
Directed by Krishna D K and Raj Nidimoru, 99 also stars Mahesh Manjrekar and veteran actor Vinod Khanna. Here's hoping the film does one better than its title and scores a century.
