VELLORE: District collector Ajay Yadav while reviewing the ongoing work under the aegis of the District Rural Development Agency (DRDA) on Friday directed officials to complete the Green House Project before February 25. The scheme will be inaugurated on February 29.
Yadav said that the revenue department officials should give a copy of the work order to sand cart operators while they transport sand or bricks for the housing projects under the Indira Awaas Yojana, Rain Water Harvesting System and the Green House Project.
All work under the NREG programme should be fully completed, Yadav said. He also urged them to speed up the completion of the ongoing road work under the MLA Development Fund.
DRDA project director N Srivansan, project officer of the Mahalir Thittam G K Lokeswari, executive engineer Balakrishnan, BDOs and other officials were present on the occasion.
