New Delhi: Shanghai is an upcoming Hindi political thriller film directed by Dibakar Banerjee and starring Abhay Deol, Emraan Hashmi, Kalki Koechlin, Prosenjit Chatterjee and Pitobash Tripathy.
Based on the life of politicians and their greed. The film is slated to be released on June 8, 2012. The movie also stars Farookh Sheikh, Kanchi Shinde and Anant Jog. The movie brings together an ensemble cast with most of the actors working together for the first time - except for Kalki Kochelin and Abhay Deol. This is Dibakar Banerjee's fourth movie and it comes after the long gap after 'Love Sex aur Dhokha', which as released in 2010.
