Chennai: Thiru Thiru Thuru Thuru will be the first Tamil movie to have a digital release all over the country.
The music release of the movie saw veteran actor Kamal Hasan talking about the future of cinema in the digital age.
“I'm a great fan of the upcoming future - the digital cinema. This is digital cinema effort for which I've an axe to grind. I believe that it'd come in high. I'm already doing a digital cinema,” says Hasan.
A co-production by Real Image and the popular Cineplex Sathyam Cinemas, Thiru Thiru Thuru Thurustars actor Ajmal Ameer opposite newcomer Rupa Manjari.
The actors looked thrilled about their forthcoming romantic drama at the music release.
“It's a very, very good start for lot of people out there who're talented and you know not brought out in a real way. So I think Sathyam Cinemas and Real Image have really taken a good measure like this and I hope more good talents come out through them,” said Rupa.
“If this kind of people will come around and take this kind of films, our Tamil film industry will go to the next level. I'm happy about that,” said Ameer.
The film is directed by debutante Nandhini but she doesn’t want to classify herself as a woman director.
“Why do you call them women directors? My mother was a woman, she directed me all the time. My sister was a woman. I've no problems with woman being directors,” the director said.
