Click to play videoNew Delhi: Actress Kareena Kapoor was in the Capital to inaugurate a spa on Saturday. Kareena spoke to the media about fitness, her upcoming film with Saif Ali Khan Roadside Romeo and working with Hollywood legend Sylvester Stallone.
The actress felt she was the right choice for the inauguration of the spa as she is now a fitness freak.
"Unhone sahi ladki ko choose kiya hai (They’ve chosen the right girl to inaugurate the spa) as I am very much into fitness and weight loss since the last one year."
Although her last film Tashan bombed at the box-office, Kareena is quite excited about her next project an animated flick Roadside Romeo opposite beau Saif Ali Khan.
Both Saif and Kareena have lent their voices to the lead toon characters in the Yashraj film and the actress is all praises for it.
"Roadside Romeo is a very cute love story. Actually, I told Jugal (director of Roadside Romeo) that Saif and I should be in the film as real characters as it's such a fun movie," she said.
When asked about reports of Saif being miffed after her Hollywood rendezvous with Sylvester Stallone, the actress replied,” My personal life is completely private and it's because the media keep hovering us. So I don’t want to speak about my private life.”
However, Kareena did share details about her meeting with Rambo himself.
"It was a great experience to work with Sylvester Stallone, Denise Richards and Brnadon Routh- the Superman. For all of these Hollywood stars to work in an Indian movie is a proud moment for Hindi cinema and the biggest compliment ever,” she said.
It’s been almost a year after the success of Jab We Met, so when asked if she thinks she still towers over Bollywood's actress brigade, Kareena was quick to reply.
“I know am in my own space and I'm happy being there. I don't want to be tagged as anything except for a good actress. I think the media chooses a number one each week. So I don't believe in the number game,” she said.
With biggies like Rajkumar Hirani's 3 Idiots opposite Aamir Khan and Kambhakht Ishq opposite Akshay Kumar in her kitty, the future sure seems bright for Kareena Kapoor.
