Madurai: Five trains in the Madurai division were diverted in view of the call for rail roko agitation by the Telegana joint action committee from 06:00 hrs of October 15 to October 17 1800hrs, Southern Railway said on Friday.
According to a release, the Rameswaram Okha Express leaving Rameswaram at 19.30 hrs on October 14 will be diverted via Katpadi, Tirupati, Guntakkal, Bellari Miraj, Vasai Road and Ahmedbad.
Hazrat Nizamuddin Sampark Kranti Express leaving Madurai at 23.45 hrs on October 15 will be diverted via Vijayawada, Duwada, Raipur, Nagpur.
Tirunelveli Bilaspur Express leaving Tirunelveli at 00.15 hrs on October 16 will be diverted via Vijawada, Duwada, Raipur.
Jammu Tawi Mangalore/Tirunelveli Navyug Express leaving Jammu Tawi at 23.55 hrs on October 13 will be diverted via Kota, Vadodara, Vasai Road, Pune, Madgaon, Mangalore.
Tirunelveli Jammu Tawi Express leaving Tirunelveli at 15.45 hrs on 14.10.2011 will be diverted via Nagercoil, Trivandrum, Shoranur, Mangalore, Madgaon, Pune, Vasai Road, Vadodara, Kota, the release said.
