Click to play videoNew Delhi: The IIMs continue their undisputed rule as the B school kings of India but this year, Delhi's Faculty of Management Studies managed to beat them as far as placements go.
IIM Ahmedabad has topped CNBC-TV 18's annual B - School list. Following it 3 more IIMs - Bangalore, Calcutta and Lucknow. Gurgaon based MDI comes in fifth followed by XLRI Jamshedpur, National institute of Industrial Engineering Mumbai, FMS delhi and SP Jain Mumbai. Rounding off the list is yet another IIM, IIM Kozhikode.
But as far as placements go, the low profile Faculty Of Management Studies, Delhi has beaten the IIMs at their game. It tops the list because it gives a better return for investments. Simply put the fee is low and the salary high.
The B-Schools were evaluated on 6 broad parameters including placement, faculty and recruiter satisfaction. 113 of schools participated in the study and 208 recruiters were interviewed as well.
