Tempers fly at Delhi airport as passengers had to wait to board flights for over four hours without anything decent to eat or drink.
And for passengers of SpiceJet the holiday season had turned sour.
“All the staff of SpiceJet have fled and passengers are wondering around whom to contact,” said a passenger.
On Tuesday night, visibility at the Delhi airport had reached zero, which meant that no flights could take off or land. The condition wasn't any better on Wednesday morning either and 17 flights were cancelled and 50 were rescheduled.
Train services have also been disrupted. More than 26 Delhi-bound trains are running late especially those coming from the east. Some of the trains are late by more than six to eight hours.
